“I heard a conversation how it made no sense to have an all female ghostbusters because it would only appeal to a small population”

Best Moriarty by far.

Yes. I feel like the British one takes itself too seriously to be true to the kind of mischievous spirit of the books. Also the changes that Elementary made gave the story new life. And Jonny Lee Miller’s performance is more nuanced and interesting. And Lucy Liu. Just, Lucy Liu.

Am I the only one that thinks Elementary is way better than Sherlock? Sherlock always seems like it wants me to be super impressed by how genius it is but I don't actually enjoy watching it.

Then I’m also a demon. ;p Sherlock is fun but way too camp, Elementary never wears on my nerves and it has had the best plot twists. And Lucy Liu and her side-eye.

Absolutely. No matter how much money they throw at Sherlock it’s just OK and campy but Elementary has been good to great every single episode. I watch and enjoy both but if I had to pick only one it would be Elementary.

Sherlock is grossly overrated. To be fair, I only watched season 1 and part of season 2, so maybe it got better but outside of being infatuated with Cumberbatch or Holmes/Watson shipping, a lot of that show was garbage.

Lucy Liu is indeed a goddess. 11-year-old me was kind of obsessed with her.

Also this lady

I only watch it because of Lucy Liu. Love her and the sassy looks she gives Sherlock.

She really showed “straight man* (sic)“ chops to the quirky character of Lee Miller, and I didn’t know she had them. And now Joan’s getting more stories of her own.

You may hate on CBS, but don’t hate on Elementary and Lucy Liu!’

Elementary is better than one might think. Yes, it is no Sherlock but it does produce a heck of a lot more episodes for its fans! And it has some spins on Sherlock Holmes characters that are genuinely interesting.

I love Elementary.

Women only watch tv between 11am-12pm, when their children are napping. Extensive survey and observational research has shown that all other times women are cooking and do not have access to a tv (open-concept homes are changing this of course, thanks to HGTV’s strategic programming). Men are just a more lucrative

Women watch more tv, and also buy more consumer goods. Why on earth would you cater to a group that doesn’t want to watch scripted tv and also doesn’t do their own shopping?

Shut up, Elementary is amazing and so much better than Sherlock.

The weird thing is, the cast/show sounds a lot like CBS’s Elementary: WOC lead (Lucy Liu/Sarah Shahi), two white guys, one youngerish (Jonny Lee Miller/Rob McClure) one aging former kinda-heartthrob (Aidan Quinn/Anthony Edwards), one man of color (John Michael Hill/Felix Solis); plus solving crimes in NY, based a

And yet there were going to be 3 male co-stars in the show.

I see this sort of thing and I wonder if proximity to my vajay makes my money somehow turn a different color/be worth less. Uh, women are a lot of people, and a lot of us watch t.v. And also, boys can like girl characters. So...take my money/eyeballs/impressions?
