You’re correct - all the senators’ nameplates say Mr./Mrs./Ms., and the women senators choose which title to use. Senate procedure is very formal and old-fashioned in general.

Yes! This is such a good idea.

Are you sure it’s not Andrew Keegan??

Yes, and this is how people defend Trump against accusations of fostering (or at least turning a blind eye to) anti-Semitism in his administration and supporters. It’s a fig leaf. Kushner is obviously not going to stand up for Jews, or anyone besides himself and his own interests.

Reminds me of this:

I was either drunk or i fell asleep (#both)

No, it doesn’t matter exactly what you say - they’ll record your call and your position on the issue in their system no matter what. The person answering the phone is not a legislative staffer; it’s an intern/staff assistant, so don’t be intimidated!

I think it’s unfair to assume that all men in suits are out to just make money.

Hahahaha he looks like the Nipple King guy from Parks & Rec who cuts his own hair!

My dog, too. He doesn’t fight the bath, he just stands there and gives me the saddest, most defeated look, like, “Why is this happening to me?” It’s so adorable and heartbreaking. (Of course the second he gets out, he tears around the house shaking water all over everything, so I don’t feel too bad.)

*spoiler alert for Sherlock s4 e3*

Yes! Cheryl Strayed has also talked about this on her advice podcast, Dear Sugar, and it’s so comforting to hear. Especially when she is open about the sacrifices her kids had to make because their parents are both artists. As an expectant mom, it makes me feel a lot better to hear that it’s possible to raise healthy

I think it means reunifying Brad with the kids? At least, that’s what the term “reunification” means in CPS contexts.

What is this, the Trump Tower Lobby Collection?

I seriously LOLed at your gif, but also, he’s a serial killer on that show!! His character terrifies me so much I can’t see the sexiness.

I don’t know anything about this woman, and I’m not defending her. I was responding to a previous commenter who was criticizing “women who hire baby nurses” as wanting 24/7 help.

Like, you need a baby nurse 24/7 to care for your own child? Huh?

What? A night nurse is, by definition, not 24/7. They take care of the baby overnight so the parents can sleep. (Although for breastfeeding moms who can’t go overnight without feeding, they still have to wake up for that.)

Haha it wasn’t my toddler! I’m pregnant with my first :)
