I was thinking the same thing! The Coke cans in the photos must be empty, or these people have crazy robot clamping boobs. I could probably do an empty can (but I wouldn’t, because this “campaign” is asinine).
BMs = bridesmaids
It’s what normal people call a place card. (In Knot world, an escort card tells a guest which table they’re sitting at, and a place card is at their actual place setting so they know which seat is theirs.)
That was one of the (many) things I really loved about Name of the Wind, by Patrick Rothfuss. He creates an entire society where women are warriors, elderly women are revered, and the male main character is trained by women and competes with women. It’s presented very organically, and is really a beautiful example of…
This song is objectively terrible, but now I want to put on a pair of pleather booty shorts and do Jazzercise moves.

LOL ok. You seem very angry about how random people spend their money. Enjoy your bitterness!

Nothing makes me want to vom more than when a chick tells me her parents paid for the whole thing.
It’s not bridezilla-y to invest in a wedding planner if you want one and can afford it. Not everyone is good at event planning, and a wedding is a major event! No shame in admitting you don’t have the time and/or skills to plan it yourself - you and your guests will have a better time if the wedding is well-organized…

I had no bridal party. My mom, sister, niece, and MIL wore dresses in the same color family, but not matching, and no one stood up at the ceremony. It was seriously the best decision ever - saved me so much time and stress, and most of my friends had to travel to the wedding so they were glad to avoid the extra costs…
I think of “too many” mostly in terms of stress/drama issue for the bride and groom. Obviously it depends on your friends’ personalities, but weddings have a way of bringing the crazy out in people. I chose not to have a bridal party at all because I had seen several friends deal with crazy stressful drama from…
No bridesmaids. Zero. Absolute best wedding decision, no question.
Once you narrow down your photographer list some, ask to see full albums from weddings they’ve shot. That’s a good way to get an idea of their range and style, and you can see if they’re really good at their job (or just cherry-picking a few good shots for the website).
Good luck!
I haven’t used it, so I can’t vouch for the effectiveness, but I’m pretty sure the NWLC hotline will help you file a complaint with your insurance company and/or state insurance commissioner.
