Every bathroom should have these, and changing tables. Every. Bathroom.

That’s weird, because I’ve raised 6 kids during that time, and never saw a single one.  Where you live?

Japanese design philosophy is probably the best on the planet. It’s like from 50 years into a future with alien life forms from Alpha Centuri.

I’m almost crying. I feel so let down, I’m never going to be able to use a regular parent-child rest room again. He doesn’t need to be held now but even just a chance to immobilize the little goon so I can pee without him accidently turning on the auto hand dryer and running away in panic. Why isn’t this a part of my

No, no conspiracy. But why would large companies focus on a small car with tiny profit margins when they can sell bigger vehicles and make more money? In other industries startups would focus on this area but building a car is hard work (ask Tesla) and no one can front the startup cost and development time.

It will never get passed or be implemented. It’s just ridiculous wishful thinking.

I read all day. I’m also capable of performing basic arithmetic which apparently you people of faith can’t.

If demand was there, they would build it.

Referring to the GND as merely, “ambitious”, reveals a shockingly ignorant understanding of both reality, reasonableness and prudence. And as such, it will likely attract all manner of left-leaning youth who will completely disregard the level of fascistic totalitarianism required to implement it. The over half the

Along those lines, it’s estimated that we already have over a million unfilled jobs in the skilled trades. If we can’t even find qualified applicants for those positions, how are we going to ramp up to have enough qualified laborers to renovate every outdated building in America?

TL;DR

Another thing they don’t mention is that if that object was a small car, instead of an immovable object, then the truck suddenly becomes a much safer place to be than the car.

I mostly agree with you, but I’m cool with power windows and mirrors and A/C.  And please, for the love of all that is holy, give me a REAL KEY!

It’s frustrating because Tundras are still crazy expensive despite being ancient gas pigs. They need to either release a newer design getting >20mpg (while still being able to tow) and have a rear e-locker or drop the prices on the thing. The Nissan Frontier is cheeeap because it’s ancient. Even the loaded Frontiers

As someone who drives a 15 year old truck, the only thing I like about this article is that it’s more reason for Toyota to hurry up on a new Tundra that gets better than 15mpg.

That Tundra platform is older than old. Direct result of Toyota’s business model of keeping the platform the same sometimes for 10 years and only update the exterior look of the vehicles and pass that on as new models.

I’m always wondering in my miata how it can be safe to have their bumper positioned in a way to give me a nice clean haircut should they T-bone me. T-bone is a stretch, because the first part of their trucks that would make contact would be the wheels.

I guess I question the whole jobs thing. Taking the initial idea of reconstructing every house in America to be energy efficient and building all sorts of new wind farms etc, a huge majority of that work would be trade skill labor of stuff like carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc. Those are specialized jobs that

Isn’t it, though?

THE GREEN NEW DEAL IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GIVE CHILDREN A BOX OF CRAYONS AND ASK THEM TO WRITE A STORY ABOUT SAVING THE EARTH
