Parents having different last names is incredibly common in 2018 in America. Sometimes people have kids without getting married. Sometimes women keep their name when they are married. It’s only a red flag if you’re an overly conservative busybody living in the past.

Hey, don’t be so hard on dcelts, maybe they’re just on Ambien.

Well akshually *pushes glasses up* it’s not always free. It’s often an additional 10 percent of the adult’s ticket on international flights, and technically they have to have a ticket for some flights but not a seat...

JHTFC. An airline employee has neither the training not the authority to make that call. It’s incredible the lengths people are going to to defend the asshole at southwest. Also, its offensive as hell to automatically assume A) that dad doesn’t have custody and B) that the white lady isn’t the mom. This wasn’t air

I kinda just thought that mixed race families and adopted kids were common enough that people didn’t question it that much if the kids aren’t carbon copies of one parent. Then again, I’m naive and live in a place that has a population that’s like 25% white and 23% “two or more races”.

This is the galaxy brain response

Really thought that said snuggle for a second there

We always use the kid’s passport and have never been questioned on any airline, including Southwest.

I don’t know if it’s stated, but we used the baby’s passport when flew on Southwest and didn’t have a problem. This is either racism or an idiot who doesn’t know what a passport is.

The father, who has the same last name as the baby, was there. It’s pretty common for women to keep their names or parents not to be married. If the dad wasn’t there, you might have an argument, might.

I’ve used a passport for an infant’s id on Southwest multiple times. Never had a problem.

Birth certificates are more common because most 1 year olds (hell half of all Americans) don’t have a passport. Either document is acceptable. You have to have a birth certificate and other information to get a passport. Passport has photo and is federally issued, so it’s a higher level form of id. We always use our

Big fan of the small independent store I used. The people were great and their inventory was unique. In the big chain stores, everything looks the same. The only differences are the sizes of the stone based off of how much you are willing to spend. The small shop had stones I’d never heard of and all sorts of

You and your wife need new friends if they’re all that concerned about the size of the diamond. Of course this is coming from a guy whose frugal wife would have cut him if he wasted $5k+ on a diamond. But seriously, I’d say over half of our friends who have gotten married in the last 5 years have opted for something

What do you want to know? I took a deep dive into this stuff a couple years ago and still remember some. Rubies and Sapphires are gorgeous and still plenty hard for daily wear. They come in more colors than just the traditional red and blue. They are less expensive than diamonds, but not cheap. Emeralds are another of

When I was shopping for a ring, I was surprised to learn about all the different colors of sapphire. I always associated it with blue. The white ones are almost indistinguishable from diamonds for a lot of people.

Those charred kernels with the tasty caramelized sugars are where it’s at.

Frozen corn or even canned works in a pinch. Fresh is always better though. While clearing out the pantry, I tried it with canned, and it was edible. Trick is draining it off and cooking it in a skillet with hot animal fat.

That’s a perfectly reasonable, measured, and informed response that contrasts with the much more common screams of GMOs are the devil and Monsanto is evil. Like I said, there are valid concerns about the companies that make them and their business practices. You pointed out those concerns in more detail. The big

Well, there’s that.
