Also, I think Green Monster is great. I know it’s a little gimmicky, but it is a really cool wrinkle in the game.

The small size of Fenway really makes it a much nicer place to watch a game than other stadiums.

So I really don’t get the “you should stay somewhere where you fully fulfilled your agreed-upon contractual obligations, even if you hate it there, because the fans of that team want to pretend that they have the shot you know that they don’t have”…

Exactly. Durant could have been paid about $33 mil per year from the OKC to be stuck in 3rd or 4th seed purgatory or $25 mil to win a title with the Warriors. It seems like a pretty easy decision that any rational human would make.

Isn’t “getting a championship” the only legitimate reason you need?

Saw the first quarter, but now sitting in a theater, waiting for the movie to start. Giving up on the Bears is really, really, really really freeing.
