yeah, there’s a whole undercurrent of tension in the show that despite their wealth and apparent success, joel and midge’s families are not exactly part of the ruling class.
I’m more a fan of pop art.
“People I don’t care about: Marc Jacobs”
This is such a fucking insult to the real Avril. RIP.
I literally drowned in irony reading this tweet. RIP me.
Even more outrageous is the fact that Scarlett Johansson is playing Towne in his upcoming biopic “Lord of the String.”
...the posts were not meant to be public—they were “the result of an ongoing family dispute.
Yes how did the universe create such an effective blend of stupid and evil?
I’m honestly as tired as the “John McCain was a terrible terrible person who no one should say nice things about” pieces as the “John McCain was last of a rare and noble breed of American statesmen” pieces. Dude died just yesterday, and in my universe, it’s still poor manners to interrupt other people’s mourning with…
I know. I read this while thinking ‘who cares?’ but apparently millions of people do. I don’t understand YouTube celebrities or social media influencers, and have no patience for their shitty, badly put together videos of them uptalking and sounding like ignorant idiots. This was spot-on and a pleasure to read, Julianne! As someone who is very interested in fashion (and not ok with how women are shamed for it), I like to read pieces like this from someone who knows what they’re about instead of just the one-note criticism of the pricetags alone.
That movie looks like a pile of flaming hot garbage and I CANNOT WAIT.
To be fair, though... all of the Disciples were total shitbags. That’s kind of the actual message of the gospels, if you pay attention and think about it.
