How do you guys feel about pregnant belly shots on facebook? I am just starting to show so I put up one picture and got a lot of positive feedback. I'm thinking about doing weekly shots once I start showing more because Mr. Haa and I have lots of family on there but I don't want to drive my friends insane either.

I went through that stage at 20/21/22. My husband's sisters were all having babies and it was killer for my ovaries. It eventually passed until I turned 25 and then it baby fever again.

Sure I get what you're saying. It's frustrating they won't weigh in on issues that directly affect women but are eager to get our advice when it will help them. I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt because sometimes I still get intimidated about posting.

I think it depends on the parents. Mr. Haa is the youngest of 6 kids who are between the ages of 40 and 27 and his parents are 64 and 61. His father was diagnosed with cancer last year so his health has been fragile. Mr. Haa's mom has never driven and forget about either of them using a computer on their own so it

That guy on this open thread is the worst (by far) that I've seen of this but mostly I find the guys asking for advice are super open to hearing what other women's opinions are and genuinely want advice. I'm okay with that. The problem is when you go looking for validation, don't get it, and it turns into "hmm, well

I have a pair of peace sign chucks that I wore the shit out of in high school. I refuse to throw them away so they sit stinky, dirty, and full of holes in my closet. Im expecting in September and am going crazy over all the cute little baby chucks I could buy.

Wisconsinite here. I agree we don't have a ton in common with the Kansas/Nebraska part of the Midwest but I've always heard us described as Midwest.

Heehee.

I married my high school sweetheart and honestly its always been something I've been reluctant to admit it to new people. I get a lot of "girl you crazy" looks. Meh, whatever. I love my relationship and it works for us. But people who presume that everybody would want what they have a self centered assholes. She

Some of us did bong hits after our weddings. :) I married my "high school sweetheart" when I was 22 and 3 years later we're expecting our first little one. We've grown up together (started dating when I was 15) and have experienced all of life's big moments together. It's worked great for us but I know plenty of

I would totally give you one of my weeks! It's one of those things where I know as soon as we find out I will go into "OHMYGODwedon'thaveenoughtimetogeteverythingdonebeforebaby" mode but I've been on hold until we know the sex. Not completely true because we're planning our registries but haven't actually gotten

I think I just always equate brown eyes as being more common. More common = more boring but no matter what color baby Haa's eyes are I know I will think they are the most beautiful color and perfect for him/her. Thanks!

I can hardly stand waiting for the next 3 weeks. I'm supremely impatient and it already feels like this pregnancy is taking forever. I probably shouldn't talk to you about that since you're getting to the final countdown. Good luck and congrats!

I'm almost 26 and I've noticed a ton of white hairs suddenly. When I lift up the top layer of my hair they are all over the place. It doesn't help that I have dark brown hair so the white stands out pretty obviously. I actually pluck out the few that are noticeable. I don't know what I'll do if this gets much worse.

I think I felt baby Haa move for the first time today. This is my first pregnancy and it's still pretty early but I felt a tiny little flutter that didn't feel like anything I've ever felt before.

Silly question. How many different places do you register at for a baby shower? I'm thinking 1 or 2 is the norm but would it be ridiculous to register at 3 places? I want to do 2 different brick and mortars since our families are all over the US but I like that amazon gives you a discount on stuff on your registry. I

I'm a married 20-something with 2 cats and lately we've made a decision to cook at home more to save money and be healthier. We usually cook 2-3 times a week, eat leftovers 2 days, and eat out/fast food once a week. I personally think that's still too much but we're indulging since we have a baby on the way and know

My friend is brunette and her husband is blonde and they had a ginger baby. Its darkening now that hes almost a year but it can happen. We find out what we're having at the end of the month. I have hazel eyes but my husbands are a beautiful grey blue. I'm really hoping our kid gets those eyes and not mine. I actually

Awesome! Thanks, now I know how I'm spending my Saturday night. :)

Agreed. I was just watching True Life: I'm Addicted to Tanning and it was insane the number of hours these people spent in the sun/in tanning beds. I have to assume they already did irreversible damage and for such a silly reason. The skin bleaching sounds just as horrible.
