I personally chose the “shave-it-all-off-bald” look when I started with Alopecia. But now I have ZERO hair and I don’t need to shave. I’m not sure where I was going with this. I guess my way of having control over it was to shave it while I still had some, that way it was my choice.

Great article. I learned to ride on the dirt back in 2009, just on someone’s old borrowed Yamaha WR250F. I wanted to learn the basics, off the road, where I wouldn’t be a danger to others, and they wouldn’t be a danger to me. You’ll always be a danger to yourself unless you train, learn, and practice.
