His issue with authority killed all but what, 20 people in the resistance? He staged a mutiny, his plan failed, and now he’s in charge. They should have thrown him out of an airlock. I don’t know why you don’t want to see the misogyny in Poe’s character from this film, but it’s definitely there.

The good is good. The bad is prequels level bad. For some people the good overshadowed the bad, for me it didn’t.

Is he good at working with Leia? Because his ignoring her orders got a lot of people killed. Plus, it doesn’t matter if he’s “good at working” with any of them, he needs to be following orders from his superior officers. He didn’t, got the majority of the resistance killed and now he’s the leader?

But we can blame Poe for calling them in even after Leia told him to turn back.

How did the First Order get all of those supplies down to the planet as their ships were blowing up?

Rose: We’re not done yet. *removes saddle from horse dog* Good, now we’re done.

Yep. The entire plot for 2/3 storylines was based on Poe being a misogynist dick and disobeying his commanding officers, “Oh that’s the Admiral?! Not what I expected”. But oh, those women love their Poe. Who cares about the hundreds of people killed because he can’t follow directions? Hey, also, let’s put him in

I’m really hoping her saber incorporates her staff somehow.

But they were able to watch them with their screen so there that. Also I’m really unclear on how Benicio Del Toro’s character knew how the resistance was escaping.

So, Poe gets basically the entire resistance killed and then gets promoted for it because....

We get it. It was totally ham fisted.

I literally made this joke after rewatching Empire yesterday. It’s so true.

Yeah, but then he gets a promotion at the end?

They could have found out about the escape ships launching by just looking out their window, they didn’t need Benicio Del Toro to tell them anything.

Who would have known you’d get so much shit for cracking a joke about a thermostat? I didn’t realize men were so sensitive about climate control.

When I worked at coffee shops the owners would raise prices and the customers would say, “well, this is coming out of your tips”. I worked in an incredibly wealthy neighborhood, so those people rarely tipped anyway. The owners would tell us if we wanted a raise we should improve our service and get more tips.

They’re not dying off, they’re being replaced. I grew up with those people and now I’m watching them have a million instagramable babies. Even when I moved to a progressive city we had a hip millennial church that preaches obedience and anti-LGBT propaganda.

Those same variances exist among black voters and yet 90% of them voted for Moore, so I’m still wondering WTF white women?

The Democrats need to be putting more black women and other POC into leadership positions and start grooming them to run for higher offices. Instead of wringing our hands about “working class voters” (code for poor white people, though most working class people I know are a diverse lot) and start supporting the people

Thank you! Progressives want to pretend that all the bad in our country is limited to the South, but they need to be working in their own neighborhoods because this shit is EVERYWHERE.
