Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Still love Black Flag better, but Syndicate is a pretty good one. I’m glad they brought back Brotherhood’s recruiting and territory system. I’m also in the middle of both Doom 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, which are great so far, and I’m sure I’ll be playing Overwatch on and off like I do

I’m with you on eSports. I just don’t get it. Do pro players get access to parts of games that other players don’t? Different maps, different characters? No? Then I can play on the same field as them, so I’d rather just play. It’s not like The Wizard, where the pro gamer kids got to play Super Mario Bros. 3 for the

I felt the same way about the last Burnout game. It’s kinda cool having a city to race around in, but I liked the series when it was just tracks and crash mode.

“It was coincidental” isn’t an explanation though. Of course it was coincidental. The problem was that THEY DIDN’T CHECK FIRST, not that it was a coincidence.

This IS Portland we’re talking about. There’s a reason the show has parodied the city with stunning accuracy for years.

I’m torn on this. On one hand, good! Police need to be charged when they act unreasonably and someone gets killed! On the other hand, Tulsa PD’s affidavit states “Shelby reacted unreasonably by escalating the situation, became emotionally involved, and overreacted.”

The G302 also stripped out the adjustable weight, dual-mode scroll wheel and tilt function. The customizable DPI switch button is really nice though. Previous mouse was a G5 which had a nicer and more ergonomic grip, with smoother oval shaped thumb buttons. I’d love to have a combination of both.

It’s fun to read all these “A Nintendo C&D will never happen” posts now.

If you take esports so seriously that you threaten to quit forever if someone who’s really good at the game is cheating, you probably should’ve quit a long time ago anyway.

I’m not really a fan of vanilla-only legacy servers. What I’d really like to see instead are progressive servers. Start with vanilla, unlock content as you ‘flag’ each raid encounter from vanilla complete before you can unlock TBC, then do the same with WotLK, and so on.

Clearly it was the 3 year old’s fault!

Getting the vibe of Bowie’s Blackstar version of Major Tom here.

Max Landis had a great point about this: Ghost in the Shell would NOT have been greenlit had they not gotten Scarlet Johansson. She’s an A-list actor, and there are currently no Asian female A-list actors who can get a property sold to studios. You need star power, and the only property right now that’s big enough to

I always thought that Big Boss should’ve been voiced by someone else anyway. If Solid Snake was brought back into the action, sure, bring back Hayter. Big Boss maybe, but Solid wasn’t a perfect copy and his other clones had vastly different voices. But especially considering the reveal about Venom Snake, why would the

The pose is fine, the outfit is stupid. Even yoga pants doesn’t give someone that level of atomic wedgie. Fabric stretches across gaps (like cleavage or an ass crack). It doesn’t invade every bodily crease like a liquid. That’s just poor costume design. We gave Rob Liefeld shit for that for decades.

I like it, it’s pretty, and the puzzles are challenging, but if there’s one thing I wish it did better was introduce new elements more smoothly. The Tetris blocks were a hard enough learning curve, but by the time I got to the hollow blue squares I had to look up what they did. Sometimes I’ll solve the first couple

I know a few of them and this company is the real deal. This is the guy at the top’s baby, so he’ll absolutely deliver if they get funded.

Final Fantasy VII had the distinct advantage of being a major franchise title for Playstation 1 after Squaresoft moved on from Nintendo, so it’s often the one closest to a lot of 90s gamers’ hearts. It’s unfortunate that Final Fantasy VI didn’t get nearly as much credit, spinoffs, remakes, or nostalgia. It’s a
