It isn’t what he promised implicitly

Or France, the countries that were desperate for peace didn’t end up getting it, they just paid through the nose beforehand.

I would’ve thought they could be quite fun with a decent motor in there. Electric cars tend to have good acceleration and Caterham, Morgan etc could probably still buy engines off the big manufacturers.

That seems unlikely. Manufacturers have spent lots of money on R&D for Hydrogen and/or Electric cars. It seems unlikely they’d choose to go back to ICE cars unless they could use oil based fuels again.

It’s easier to make 1000 cars cleaner by replacing one plant than by replacing 1000 cars.

Diesel does have advantages. When the EU was aiming to reduce CO2 production having the population of diesel cars would help. Either way this isn’t equivalent. Diesel was just favoured as the slightly better fuel for a while here. Where as Electric cars could, and probably will, end up being almost 100% clean.

That’s why it’s good. It’s the closest Top gear ever got to actually swearing. It also never failed to crack up the presenters when they were reviewing a car with one.

I don’t know about enforcement but in the UK the highway code states in rule 29 that (emphasis www.gov.uk) “you MUST ensure you do not hit anyone when you open your door. Check for cyclists or other traffic”.

They don’t but do have a neck, instead of doing this you can just look where you’re opening the bloody door. The people that aren’t doing this already probably aren’t going to inconvenience themselves by opening the door in a way that isn’t ingrained into them through muscle memory.

I think most of Jalopnik would happily call a hatchback a car. They’ve got a lot of room for their size. I know Americans don’t get as many as Europe does but you still have quite a lot.

Everyone considers millennials to end in the mid 90s at the earliest. I don’t the norm is to have kids in your mid to early 20s. What it is is an attempt to make money, that’s all an Airline going to try and do.

That is sort of how technology works. Millennial is meant to be a generation and from the 70's to 2000 technology was changing far quicker than new generations. Of course it doesn’t help that it’s a broader definition that most gens with a couple of companies claiming the generation still hasn’t ended.

Yeah that isn’t going to happen. Basically you get to chose between cheap ticket or decent amount of space or included “luxuries” Free drinks, free food, free wifi etc.

No, if anything it’s probably the other way round. I’d expect most millennials would rather get a cheaper ticket for less comfort than a more expensive one for more. Basically Air France had some 50 years olds that decided this would be popular and no actual millennials in a high enough position to tell them no.

And, if you attempt to hire a car once you’re in Paris, they’ll only let you have A Chrysler Portal.

Car you most want America to get?

Center or Centre?

I may well be wrong about this and I wouldn’t ever want to try it but I thought technically in the USA the police can’t use your tax returns as evidence but if they find out you didn’t report something they can also put a tax avoidance charge on you.

What are your favourite and least favourite styles of cars (Hatchback, CUV, Sedan etc)?
