If the ACA is so damn great and covers people “sufficiently” and affordably, why did the federal government make this offer to the people of Flint?

Where I am (Iowa) there really isn’t any vitriol between the two sides and I think most Democrats here would gladly vote for either of them.

Now playing

i haven’t been skewered when I’ve questioned her politics to her supporters tho

Apparently relating first hand experiences doesn’t change people’s minds either. It happens all the time, even on sites like this one.

You patronized a first time voter, who is voting carefully and researching carefully, using an example of how voters who are undecided are grossly uninformed. You denigrated his or her decision-making as well, insinuating it was probably about who would be better to have a beer with. Later on down the line, you

You’re insulting someone who is trying to do a good job at voting. Knock it off. It’s ridiculous and not okay.

Would love to see an article about the other side of coin. Anyone who opposes Hillary is automatically called a sexist.

How can you support such a craven warmonger?

As I’ve commented to various people, I made a neutral comment on a Planned Parenthood facebook page, not specificially advocating for Bernie, just saying I disagreed with their decision to choose sides in the primary. It was a polite statement. The replies from HRC supporters were NASTY.

Should they personally track down each offending Berniebro and kneecap them? Seriously, what more can they do than tell people to tone it down and lead by example?

It’s an issue for all of the candidates. (And the issue is usually with the supporters who are least informed, and treat political contests like sports games, where there’s one team they’re dead-set on rooting for, regardless of what new information they get about their candidate.) It’s just that Sanders has actually

I support Bernie because he has been correct on many issue that Hillary has flip-flopped on.

Iraq war
TPP
XL Pipeline
Gay marriage

The weird thing is I went to a Bernie rally and he came off as pretty feminist to me. Like I was surprised because sometimes old socialists like him have some kind of regressive views on women, but he spent a pretty good chunk of time talking about pay equity, childcare, reproductive rights and etc.

I’m a Bernie supporter and made a polite comment on a Planned Parenthood facebook page, saying I disagreed with their decision to endorse a candidate. Didn’t even mention Bernie Sanders. I got multipe abusive responses within minutes. Bad behavior is not limited to one camp.

I know a lot of people who support Sanders, and I have yet to encounter this archetype.

A salesperson once told me, “The two things most women are wearing in the wrong size are bras and shoes. Find a professional and only buy things that fit at your price range.”

The answer is: It depends.

I’m pretty poor, but I received a pair of black Louboutin boots as a gift last year. They are magnificent and beautiful and the most uncomfortable fucking shoes I’ve ever owned. The mostly stay in their box, looking pretty, save for occasions when I want to make someone asshole jealous.

Maybe they had a falling out when Parker launched her own shoe line.
