VW (I work at a dealer) ran 72 mos at 0% last month. It happens fairly often, but if you put any money down, it's almost always in your interest to take the "all incentives" price even at 3-4% and pay it down early.

I like leasing. And at VW, where roughly 45% of our clients lease, I recommend it all the time. As long as you understand the rules (and aren't hung up on the mileage - there is only one circumstance under which you get dinged for it anyway), it's a great way to swap in and out of cars as long as you're okay with…
It is about 40% in the DMV area where I work. Additionally, the DSG in the MK7 is massively improved over the MK6; I ended up purchasing a DSG MK7 due to the heavy traffic in this area, and it's still fantastic to drive.
Where do you live? I work for Lindsay VW (northern VA), and we have no issues trading the 2015 GTI as long as there is one out there. We also have the most in the area as well, so that doesn't hurt. I'd be happy to check for you if you'd like. You can reply here or email me at jpidek@lindsayvw.com
Fascinating read; thanks for the link!
I have no idea what the history of Woodward Ave in Detroit is. Explain?
No, it's completely new. Thank God.
I cannot wait for this wagon. I'll be preordering either a Sportwagen TDI or the new Golf TDI for my wife; waiting on order guides to release so I can price them.
Damn, that's rough. What do you do now?
two quick things:
Hah! I had that experience when I shopped for a Focus ST; also the salesperson was very obviously checking out my wife every time he thought I wasn't looking.
Hell yes on the wheel and tire package; that's the only one I really push with my customers. I declined it, bent a factory wheels four months later. Cost me $600. I keep a framed photo to show people, haha. Especially in the NOVA/DC/MD area, wheel and tire is a great idea.
Damn. Well that's intense.
But it's so pretty...
Cleaning wheels is the worst.
Seconded on the C30 looking cool. The Polestar C30 is especially cool.
I work for VW, haha. There are a few of us here. Also I'd just had my coffee for the morning, so I got a bit carried away.
As the driver of a black GTI with a manual, I third this. Fourth'd and Fifth'd by my coworkers with a red Stage 2 Golf R and a stock blue Golf R with manuals as well, and Sixth'd by my coworker with a silver TDI Sportagen manual.
Haha, I have an '83 240DL with the same issue. My wife still does get into the car, though, and is reasonably self-respecting. Lucky for me we were already married when I bought the heap, though.
Yep!
