These drills are just a fact of life in schools now, the way recess or lunchtime or math class is. The two things I keep thinking about in regard to that:

Oh, you’re selling us short! We hate everyone except rich white men. Children are just one of the many, many groups meriting our loathing.

I have an 11-year-old and a 6-year-old. We left the US (for Canada) two years ago, and just relocated to Germany. A HUGE part of our reason for leaving is that I enjoy sending my children to school and not worrying about the threat of gun violence preventing their safe return home.

I agree with you but we can’t just let Sarah slide and no one else.  If you’re about redemption, it needs to be applied across the board.  If we are doing this just because we like Sarah, that doesn’t hold up. 

BlackKKlansman was great. I also enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians. Or go old school and find something like Gilda or Casablanca.

I’ve had it with men this week. These abortion policies in Georgia and Ohio are making my blood boil. Ugh.

The irony wasn’t lost on me at the time that Mr. Trump in 2011 had strongly criticized President Obama for not releasing his grades. As you can see in Exhibit 7, Mr. Trump declared “Let him show his records” after calling President Obama “a terrible student.”
