Its a “narrow” decision because the ruling on this case does not have wide ranging implications. The ruling does not throw out Colorado’s anti discrimination statutes. SCOTUS ruled yesterday that the State of Colorado supposedly was not impartial and “hostile” to religion (although that’s highly debatable itself).

The decision is narrow, not the vote. They only ruled on the small portion of the case that decided that the court in Colorado introduced bias into their ruling by not remaining neutral on the subject of the baker’s religious beliefs. They “invalidated” his beliefs more or less, and SCOTUS said “no you can’t do that”.…
