I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with the protect. I was just answering the question why someone would hack up a 5 year old car, it was already totaled.

I saw the early videos of this build. It was a totaled 2015 due to flood damage, but still ran and drove. He bought it at auction and came up with the idea of using it as a basis for better handling older looking car.

Acura officially announced a second gen NSX in December of 2007. The first sale did not occur until Summer of 2016. Ford officially announced the Bronco was returning in January of 2017. There was a Bronco concept way back in 2004 but not sure I would count that as it was not a commitment to bring it back. I can’t

So did your customer go with the Subaru?

Agreed, for example Subaru and Hyundai April sales were down 46% and 39% respectively. I find it surprising it was not greater given the stay at home orders in place country-wide.

I recently saw a Lexus IS-C and honestly completely forgot they existed up until then.

Fatality rate would be deaths/total number of accidents. The article only states deaths have increased. I agree we don’t know if more accidents are occurring or not, but we can’t rule out distracted drivers and pedestrians as a factor.

Agreed, it probably has more to do with people stepping into the road without looking or distracted driving, than the shift in demand for types of vehicles. Both are thanks to screens.

My Fiancée has a 2014 with this transmission and it’s a little jerky at times but has never left her stranded. Currently at 116k miles and it still get 36 mpg easily.

Pretty that post card comes from the attorneys handling the lawsuit, not Ford. They don’t give a shit of what transmission you have, they just sent them to every single person with a Focus.

That is true, but there is a point where it’s not worth the safety of others on the road. A poorly lifted truck with a death wobble or a stanced car riding on a tire’s sidewall is just dangerous.

I enjoy sending back the prepaid envelopes from junk mail with nothing in them. Supports the USPS and wastes the money of the damn companies that keep sending me crap.

I think this is why many dealers want to be designated as essential, to operate as they always have. They are fearful that by offering new, more remote ways to buy a vehicle proves their current structure is antiquated.

Q2 will definitely be telling. Even if we are let out of the house and people want to buy, I expect supply to be low since factories are currently shut down.

Totally agree with you. It would be nice if this article to be updated to show March vs Feb sales or Q1 2020 vs Q4 2019. In this instance it would be more telling than comparing March or Q1 2020 to the same time in 2019.

I was always curious about that during the last recession. GM said they kept Buick because it was popular in China. I couldn’t help but wonder if that was the case just keep the brand in China then.

Currently only leftover 2019s, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets extended to 2020 models.

It’s just a matter of sitting down and doing the math. In rare cases rebates and finance options can be independent though. I was able to get 0% and rebates that amounted to $3500 off MSRP on my Ford.

The balance of my 401k has little to do with whether or not I buy a new car. It’s my job security that dictates that. There is far too much emphasis on 401k balances. I’m 30 years old, I wasn’t touching that money for at least 30 more years. And while it’s down I get to buy more shares of the with every paycheck. I
