I’ve heard a lot of critiques against zoos as a result of this. Some people do take their reactions too far though. Still, it’s a sad event all around.

I’m not going to compare them. I’m going to just be outraged at both of them. Except for the official punishments, where I think it is appropriate to compare cases for logical decision making, and for justice. Although that rarely happens in the NFL.

Dude we are on the same side. But zoos have been important for inspiring enthusiasm, allowing scientific study, and promoting conservation of species. Zoos are far from perfect, but people need to know and care about species to take actions to save them.
