Thanks for this! I meditate and teach meditation to kids, so I'm obviously biased, but meditation is more than just woo-woo, it seriously works!

Hey, at least you admitted it! Bob Dylan is like that though, so many people do amazing covers of his songs that are sometimes better than his version, and it's easy to forget he wrote it. Also, a lot of his songs are covers of, or very heavily inspired by even older folk songs. Cool stuff!

THIS. Thank you for saying this. I still deal with this in adulthood too, but the difference is that I can at least recognize some of the harmful behaviors I've internalized. It's a work in progress and I feel like I'm "behind" in developing important skills, but my life has been improving as I break these habits.
