Uhm isn’t ‘why?’ more like cause and ‘to what end?’ more like purpose? But I’m not a native speaker so I’m not 100% certain.
Besides Furlong and Will from Veep I would have loved to see Richard Splett in this, I think he’s probably been the best supporting character in the whole show

Me neither to be honest, I felt that his storyline had had a satisfying ending. I also think it doesn't bode too well for the next season of JJ, it already reeks of "we're out of ideas".
Apparently he's coming back next season, I don't know how precisely though
It's not actually Venice but rather Vicenza (where Amy Adams was born). It's quite close too, actually (about 40 minutes by train).
