Most of your replies are people telling you that it’s a different version of Ghost Rider so it’s ok. But I get it, you wish it was a motorcycle version of the character, because that’s reasonable even if the current comics character doesn’t have one. I really like the homage, and the seriousness that these characters brought to what was ultimately very silly source material. In a similar vein, I like what they did with a similar group on Young Justice (only different in that Static took on the BL/BV role).

It’s a different character, but not totally different. Black Vulcan is a deliberate rip-off of Black Lightning due to a rights dispute with the creators.
