I have been kind of following this story, and I am still a little confused. Could be because this story is blowing my mind.

First, FGM is unacceptable.

Do not equate one barbaric aspect of a culture with the culture as a whole. That is bigotry, pure and simple, and pretty darn ignorant too. No points for you.
