The husband and I went to see Max Raabe and his Palast Orchestra at Carnegie Hall last year. We have comp tix and are sitting in the house box. We look to our left, and one box over is is the cast of The Good Wife: Cumming, Margelies, and Ms. Baranski. Totally at ease, with Cumming leaning over the edge to get a

Her hand got puffy from bitch-slapping so many haters.

If there are any Supreme Court justices who fall asleep when they are supposed to be paying attention, it sure isn't Ruth Bayder Ginsburg.

I literally bought a ticket to the Met Opera on a whim last weekend (thank God for student tickets) because Christine Baranski told me to in that commercial.

Exactly what I was thinking. In all the scenarios she gave, there was zero chance of the victims being able to access the weapon. Assaulted in your own bed? "Please excuse me a minute, dear rapist, there is something I need in the next room."

This is huge. Really. It's an acknowledgement of the modern world. For all his flaws, this is the first pope we have that seems to have advanced beyond the fifteenth century. Bravo.

I get the feeling you don't fine dine regularly on account of you behaving like an animal and having the speech and grammar of a third grader.

Katherine (and any of you who pause here...)

I'm going to be 57 in a couple of weeks. Yes, I saw TOS in first run.

Let me tell you all this: The sense of wonder you have now will probably never die. I still get excited by great stories. I get even more excited when I see the changes that have happened and will happen.

It's really not as bad as people make it out to be. I, for one, like it for actually trying to get back to Roddenberry's original vision of exploration and scientific discovery, which is the polar opposite of DS9, even though DS9 was very good.

DS9 is boring as hell with characters as boring as hell.

"I will not live with the guilt of someone passing away."

Until those two boys kill themselves, the scale is not balanced.

Nothing this fuckstick or his parents say will ever matter, because the one person who matters in this scenario can't speak for herself ever again.

I know I'm in the minority on Jezebel about this but...I don't really care. She works for a church-based organization. It's far from shocking that they would care about this and fire her for it.

Every time I watch DS9 I come away feeling like I wasted time. I just don't like any of the characters.

Now now, Pinkham. I imagine this is only step one in her plan. With the money Arizona saves from denying this outlandishly grand luxury to these freeloaders they can build work houses and prisons! And if they don't like it, why, they can just die and decrease the surplus population!

And what did he advise his son to do? "If a police officer stops you, do everything he tells you to do, don't move suddenly, don't reach for your cell phone." Well, I can see how it would be very upsetting to police if people acted that way....

This is a little off-topic, but... I had a friend who showed up to my father's funeral wearing jeans and work boots. Because that's what he wears for his job. He took his lunch break two hours early so he could come and pay his respects and I thought it was lovely. He made an effort to be there for my family and we

She's not good, she's not nice, she's just right. She's the Witch.

Being a basement dwelling recluse really is the best prevention.
