Nope. Harry Cohn (Columbia Pictures) beats out Jack. May be an apocryphal story but at Cohn’s funeral which was attended by most of Hollywood, Red Skelton said, “Just goes to show you. Give the people what they want and they’ll turn out for it.”

That’s interesting because Ty Tennant is David Tennant‘s wife’s son from her previous marriage and David adopted him. Is real life mirroring the story?
This is one of the reasons I watch extended series like THE UNDOING: to discover an actor who is unknown to me just break out with a stunning performance. And Noma Demuzweni knocked it out of the park. Checking her acting bio I found out that she was the actor who caused somewhat of a kerfluffle when she was cast as…
Also not a lawyer (my thoughts are what I learned from obsessively watching 20 years of LAW & ORDER on first run and now in repeats all over TV) but I think the hearsay exception is narrowly drawn and I don’t think the prosecutor could have gotten away with more than the first one or two questions. So Jonathan doesn’t…
Hugh Grant in CLOUD ATLAS ( a movie I love, what can I say?) stunned me. It wasn’t just as the cannibal but the different (nasty) personas he became. Particularly the one who put his own brother in a nursing home to steal the entire family fortune. That was the one that repelled me and, strangely, turned me into a…

Nope. It’s published by Conde Nast, an international company and has different editions around the world.
Nobody tell them about Billy Porter.
First off, I love your name. Second, I became a Hugh Grant fan after watching CLOUD ATLAS. Like most of the cast in that movie, he plays several different (and differing) characters and he displayed a range I didn’t know he had. I’m not crazy about THE UNDOING but Grant is doing a wonderful job using his considerable…
LOVE your name. :-)
I live in a Pennsylvania county where there is electronic ballot box voting. BUT NO RECEIPT IS GIVEN AFTER YOU VOTE. Think of the paltry amount of votes that swung the election to Trump; just enough votes in battleground states to make the difference without arousing suspicion. I am convinced that vulnerable and…
Basically, it’s the “only Nixon could go to China” scenario because had been part the Commie-scare days. Senator Harris can move toward the left (as much as you can in this country) precisely because of her record.
Doorman Donna gets my vote.
I was in the Met when the last three were HD transmissions to movie theaters.
If and when this reign of horror is over, they’re going to have to update the DSM and name a new illness; something that combines psychopath, sociopath, and idiocy.
Another one of the great character actors who add so much to whatever project they appear in. My favorite Rubinek performance is his role in a 1999 episode, “Tribunal,” of the rebooted OUTER LIMITS. Given his background (which I didn’t know anything about till now) I have a deeper appreciation of the story.
I think it’s one of Scorsese’s best too. Have you read the book? (Don’t want to, well not exactly spoil, the ending).
I don’t think there is anyone I despise more than Roy Cohn. Including Hitler.
TCM has LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA in it’s library. (I actually saw this in a theater). It often shows up when Olivia de Havilland is being celebrated. And with the success of the musical version, the movie has a new audience that wants to see it.
Nope. It’s my favorite King novel and the one that got me back into the Dark Tower series after the original version of the The Gunslinger didn’t work for me at all. And the last part of the book is the one that makes me sob for ten minutes.
