Studded tires are not legal everywhere. In southern ontario, you’ll be fined for driving with them on public roads.

I have ridden the R6 at 29F and it was unpleasant to say the least.

Never heard of it. It can have a storied history etc etc etc but I bought a 99 R6 for 2 grand. Why would I pay 6 times as much for this? Because stories?

Many aspects of this thing remind me of riding my R6. When is spring, again?

That said, i’d probably have a lot of fun in an Exocet, except then I would have two vehicles that are useless in Canadian winter.

Do they include neck braces for the rearfacing children, or are those seats just for quadriplegic kids?

That’s funny, my two immediate mental suggestions were a Mazda 3 of some sort (do they still do performance versions?) or one the the 86 twins.

Yeah the tight bars are a love it or hate it component, can’t disagree there.

I always hear good things about the SV650, but I love my $2k R6. I commute roughly 50/50 highway and city. Tight turns are not a problem with some practice - it’s all about that low speed control.

$25??? Where I’m from the cost is $400, although it does include the test for the 2nd part of a three-step graduated license.

I always liked the little two door dodge concepts of the early 00's, but I never noticed that this one looks like an MR2 was rearended by an Audi TT.

I used to be a big GM fan, but then I realized I’m just a fan of the classics.

Used to be a big follower for the company. I still like them, most people don’t seem to even know who they are.

Interesting. I know SLP and the Firehawk, but didn’t know all the links and other companies.

Marked on the website with trademark, so they’re licensing from whoever owns the name now.

Yenko was originally a dealer. I don’t know what the deal is, but the website has the names under trademark. Not sure who owns said trademark now, I imagine GM.

The batteries vary from vehicle to vehicle, but the high performance stuff will have it flat-packed as low as possible which should help handling, by keeping CofG super low and ideally distributed front-rear very evenly. The tradeoff is that you’re exchanging a big IC engine and a fuel tank with heavy batteries and

I’m sensing some resistance from OP

I watched it but I find myself watching less and less of this crap that shows up in my feeds. There’s nothing interesting to be seen, then he advertises to like the boring-as-hell video we just watched.

The only movie in the series to ever actually have the correct number of shifts for the transmission.

Bikes can be had super cheap, stick to something japanese for the least maintenance concerns. 650's especially seem to be quite cheap for a cruiser that’s 7-10 years old.
As far as the riding goes, freshen up in a learner’s course - lot of places have an absolute beginners course, where they start with the absolute

My buddy was just at the bike show in Toronto and said he loved the Victory bikes. Awkward.
