I get about 36 mpg highway with mine, pretty reasonable for an early 00s car that’s a large sedan

I have a 3.4 in my other car that’s at 270k and runs well, but in general the 3.1 and 3.4 are not great. Cracked the block in a 3.1 Sunbird. Was gifted a Rendezvous with the 3.4 which never made it to 130k before epic

3.8L w-bodies tend to hang around a while. I bought mine two years old with 80,000 on it and it’s 14 years old now with 270 on it.

The Miata effectively avoided not only the pedestrians but also the wall they were trying to build around it.

I’m surprised they didn’t use a Silverado so the wheels matched the wheel wells for once.

I wouldn’t even consider it on the basis that you don’t swim up to a drowning person without any lifesaving equipment. That’s how you go from one drowning to two.

Nevermind the dark, the wildlife, the pile of weight from equipment and kevlar once wet.

A major tenet of helping a drowning person or persons is to not put yourself directly in the water with them. Drowning people panic and will take you down with them because it’s literally life or death for them and self-preservation will overtake common sense.

Jumping into any lake in the dark to save a drowning person

Just heading out for some tea and Olde English..

It should be the ‘rust shirt’ , because in Canada, the only vehicles without rust get parked indoors in October and don’t see the sun again until April.

But...fluid film smells better!

Being on the back is a much different feeling than being the operator. Just like being in a car when your crazy friend is driving and he decides to floor it for what feels like an uncomfortably long time. And the odds are, the rider didn’t give it full throttle immediately, because you most likely would have come off.

I bet you smoke, drink and eat non-organic foods too. You sir should be jailed.

I gotta say, looks like more than 15 cars.

Totally irrelevant to me. I like classic cars. I ride a motorcycle. Why do I care if my winter/off weather ride has 2 stars or five? I’m going to get killed on the bike or in the Cuda, not in the 2003 Impala.

We are, as a society, so insanely safe by comparison to ten years ago that it’s mind blowing: just as someone

I keep watching the gif, but no pedestrians are struck. Did you leave out a few frames?

Under 13k isn’t going to happen for anything remotely desirable because of all the safety and standard equipment that people demand.

I think the Mirage is the cheapest thing on the market right now and it’s right around that price point (without checking).

I like the Stinger concept. Do I need to see some sort of specialist?

They’re really that bad for paint and corrosion? That’s too bad, I sort of like Mustangs of the past handful of years. Certainly better than the Camaros of the same vintage, and I was raised a GM guy.

The police are getting really aggressive with their vehicle searches lately. #policestate

They’re free to do whatever they want. I wouldn’t offroad in a sports car, but it’s not mine, and it’s not rare.

I won’t applaud them for obviously abusing their cars because it’s a stupid activity. But it’s their stupid activity.

I can’t see myself buying one, but I’m not opposed to them being on the market.
