I'm OK with the gattling type chargers, not my weapon of choice but I can make them work if I need to.

It's sort of like Mass Effect 3's horde mode, but the 5 minute match length is much appreciated. ME3 multiplayer could really drag on.

What's your rank in Salmon Run? I think it's my favorite game mode (although I really like some of the Ranked modes), but it's surprising how fast the intensity increases as you level up.

Splatnet gets a lot of deserved criticism for the poor voice support, but the other features are great. I love being able to buy clothing, and it's really nice to see my win/lose ratio. It's a nice feature.

Arlo was in my game too!

Yeah, my heart fucking broke when I saw that. Not that it’s OK to do this to ANYONE, but that made it hit home even more. This guy can fuck right off.

So did Nick.

When I first heard the news, I was under the impression that this was related to a singular incident that the higher ups at Polygon were investigating. That lead me to a Neogaf thread where I saw it was a MUCH more widespread issue, to the point that his other podcast cohosts have cut ties with him. I want to believe

What if we already have a Kinja account and want to link it to our AVClub account?

They have basic editing features but, as far as I can tell, there aren't shortcuts or ways to tag them (with HTML) like on Disqus. You have to use a GUI editor.

it explains a LOT about Kinja, though.

What's the last feature you added based on user feedback?

Yeah you can start new threads! Like, use common sense, but if you want to discuss a specific TV episode, a kind of music, current events, or have a stupid shitposting thread, you have the power to create it yourself.

That literally means, "We've never done that but, like, maybe?"

With all due respect Ernie, I have been on the Kinja platform for years, and this is absolutely an issue that's been brought up before. People want threaded comments, and after 3+ years, they still haven't been implemented.

As a designer, do you have any idea how difficult it would be to change to real threaded comments? This has been an issue on Kinja for years, and I could never figure out why.

I think there is one.

I know this is small potatoes but….

Yeah I came here for the fantastic tv coverage, and it's really a shadow of it's former self right now. I hope the editors can take a good look at the content they're producing and ask what really sets their writing apart from any other pop culture site in 2017.

What did he say?
