I have many concerns, but my biggest is for Gameological Society. Gameological is the single best, most supportive gaming community I've ever been a part of, and one of the few that was welcoming to me as a queer woman. I've cherished the conversations I've had there, and the writing has always been top notch.

In my experience you have to click through three things to see all the gray unapproved comments. You have to click "show pending" every single time, and it's awful.

If the plan was to cause site wide hysteria, well, this is how you get site wide hysteria.

It figures that once I’m on the winning side of a splatfest, I’m seeing ketchup based whining. (Not you, people responding to you.)

I’m with you, Patricia! I thought limiting the mode to 12 hour increments was silly, but now that it runs for 24 hours at a time, it’s perfect. I like that it’s only on certain days - it makes the mode feel special, and gives me something to look forward to. And I also like the random weapons: part of the fun is

“Fortunately, many of us know better. We know better because we see cis heterosexual men intentionally targeting trans women for paid and unpaid sexual services in profiles posted online on sites such as Jack’d and Grindr.”

And it’s a good idea to get a capacitive stylus if you want more precision.

This is literally a game where you play as a teenager that can turn into a squid. Is that not anthropomorphizing? Chill salty teenagers, chill.

What’s up with the art direction? The two characters look like they’re from two completely different games.

As a former employee, I don’t know how the hell they’ll schedule for this. If a store has a manager, an assistant manager, 2 sgas, and a bunch of useless holiday help, that’s not much go around. The manager and ASM *have to* work black friday, so does that mean they’ll be making their sga’s work thanksgiving by

No way, team Pearl for life!!

Yeah those things are great. They even have expandable memory and a fricken *screen*. I could never understand why someone would ever choose a nano over one.

If you ever break your nano, I've had luck with Samsung's little "clip" mp3 players. They look like junk, but they work fine and have great battery life (plus they're about the size of your nano with an actual screen attached).

My only complaint is that the difficulty spikes so fast. I think I'm on the 3rd or 4th difficulty right now, and it's fucking HARD to win games. Maybe I'm a liability to my team, who knows. But I wish I could switch down to a lower level, even if that meant I'd get less money and experience.

I got Splatoon 2 for the online modes, but the single player has been a great distraction so far. It's also worth mentioning that there are 27 levels (plus bosses!), so even if they are less than 10 minutes long, that's still a decent chunk of time, especially when you can replay them with different weapons.

yeah the motion controls in portable mode aren't great. I tried to play a few rounds of Salmon Run that way, and it was manageable if I relied on the sticks, but not great. It's still a great feature, but I'm not going to take the handheld with me to play the game, either.

For me personally, there was more than enough to justify a $60 purchase, but you're really the only person who can decide what your money is worth. I'll say the campaign is surprisingly fun and meaty (and you can replay all the levels with different weapons), and all the online modes offer a nice bit of variety. For

And it's worth noting there are adults that appreciate the sentiment, too. I know it's not a cool thing to say, but I'm happy the interactions are so limited. I just want to play against other people, not deal with a bunch of meta toxicity. If that means our team is less coordinated, fine.

I find split controllers give a greater range of motion, and that really helps.
