3d World Land is a fun lark, but even I find it easy. I think it's worth a spin if you can find it cheaply, but it's not my first choice. I second your rec of Luigi's Mansion, though. It's easily one of my top games for the system.

I'm still bouncing between games, but I've played a few worlds in Mario Galaxy, and most importantly I've been honing my skills in Mario Kart 8: Deluxe under the assumption that we might get an 8 on the 8th this weekend.

It's not that exciting. My grandma had her, my grandma passed away, now I have her.

Yeah, she sleeps a lot (she's a cat), but she's still fast and agile. If she has arthritis, I certainly can't tell. Also, she's 8 lbs but she gives asshole cat (who is 15 lbs) quite the run for his money. She doesn't take sass.

But the point of this article isn’t that women are suddenly playing games, it’s that men assume women don’t or aren’t interested. When you say it was a “fun pipedream” back in the day, you’re ignoring the possibility that girls/women you knew were actually playing games without you realizing it.

Just so you know, women didn’t start playing games this year. Back in the day when gaming was even more of a boys club, just imagine how alienating being a female gamer would have been.
