I actually heard that was their new plan. They want to do iterative consoles like iphones, and this is the Iphone 4s to the Xbox One's Iphone 4.

I always thought she had a pretty generic look. That’s not meant to be a dig, she’s obviously really pretty, but I think people were mainly recognizing her based on her crazy hair instead of her facial features. If I saw her walking down the street I probably wouldn’t recognize her, even with the short hair.
This really makes me wonder how the two of them conducted their analysis differently. I’d love to know the actual figures Microsoft found, but I doubt they’ll release them. The way their statement is worded, it sounds like BC still doesn’t get an impressive amount of use, but it’s not as pathetic as Ars Technica…
Seems like it's been a gradual rollout across the us. I live in the boonies, so just imagine anything that happens here started 15 years ago.
When I go by myself, I just listen to a podcast while the ads play. Sometimes the previews, too.
I've never been to an Alamo Drafthouse, but the local second-run theater serves food and drinks. It can be a fun experience, but I'll only see goofy blockbusters there, not something I'd want to pay serious attention to. It's nice having a beer while watching a movie, but servers and house lights (so you can see your…
It felt kind of patronizing, is that weird? Like, I can appreciate a movie without a full on bed to lay on. I just want to watch movies.
KINGDOM HEARTS 3 HAS A TRAILER!

Oh, I forgot to mention one weird thing about the setup. I was worried about people tripping over the recliners too, but the seats are all laid out so that there's really wide walkway (at least 4 feet) in front of your seat. There's tons of room to walk in front of seats with the foot rests out.
:-/
That's how this theater is, and it's a Cinemark for what it's worth. It's the only theater near me that shows anything other than mainstream movies. Last summer I saw Captain Fantastic, Swiss Army Man, and Gone with the Wind, so I hope the reduction in seating doesn't mean those movies will be gone.
Well that's reassuring at least! That's about how much the early bird special is for me ($6.50, and $5 for all shows on Tuesday), so maybe I won't be gouged too much.
The assigned seating was pretty annoying. We got there 15 minutes early for a matinee, and almost every seat was taken already. This meant we had to be in a weird corner seat, which normally wouldn't bug me, but the theater was still mostly empty when we came in.
Is it tacky to repost comments from "pop culture weekend" here? If so, I'll take all the cancer-aids, because I need to discuss how my favorite movie theater was ruined.
I saw Wonder Woman again tonight. The theater we went to had recently been renovated to add these weird recliners instead of normal chairs, and seats are now assigned when you buy your tickets. I'm… not convinced I liked the experience. The seats looked like they'd be really comfy (they're basically La-z-Boys complete…
I'd still play a Bioware RPG if it interested me and seemed well made. Hell, I'd probably still play another Mass Effect. But from what I've heard, this isn't a traditional RPG, it's one of those "always on continuous multiplayer" affairs like Destiny and The Division. That's not to say that style of game is bad, but…
Embarassing confession alert: I owned Gavin Degraw's first CD because he opened for Michelle Branch at a concert I went to at age 13.
Jeeze, I read that as "the actress is one of his wives" and got a really different view of the guy.
Ya know, that would have been a selling point a few years ago. Now I'm not so sure.
