*shrug* I have a soft spot for this style of drama, and I figured I should watch Dawson's because it's referenced so often. You're also talking to a person who watched waaay to much Degrassi TNG after she was a teenager.

I mean, Dawson's dad taught him to kiss via a fake Joey head in episode 2, so I can believe that.

I might give it a shot, but I have an irrational (?) hatred of Chad Michael Murry thanks to Gilmore Girls.

The podcast is funny?

Honestly, I might watch Everwood instead.

I couldn't believe how obnoxious the characters were from minute one. Dawson is terrible, and it doesn't help that I knew obnoxious film nerds like that in high school. It's not endearing, it's smug and cloying. And Joey is just… awful. I wanted to like her, but the pilot does everything in its power to make her an

I need a new lighthearted drama to watch, so I decided to finally try Dawson's Creek. This might not be a surprise to most people, but the characters are all, like, awful? I thought I was getting an endearing teenage soap opera, but the main characters are all obnoxious gen-x know-it-alls and I have zero patience.

It's not perfect, and they certainly have an issue with the most popular opinions being the most visible, but I'd still take downvotes over graying and approved comments. It's nonsense.

Reddit's community is shitty, but the actual commenting system is fine, at least.

It also doesn't have threaded comments in 2017, which are kind of essential to follow a conversation. I know AVClub can be a bit of an echo chamber at times, but nothing beats getting the same reply from 30 people on Kinja because they didn't bother reading past the first response.

Easier fix: kill off Piper!

I'm on episode 2 and I am already finding the riot tedious. Only 11 more episodes to go…

Seriously wait. If it’s $10-20, sure, but don’t spend more than that.

I haven't played the GBA version, but I'm currently playing the 3ds virtual console version and it's quite good. If it makes a difference, the 3ds version has save states and that's made the game MUCH less frustrating. I probably would have rage quit by now otherwise, but you might be made of stronger stuff than me.

If you could bottle E3's scent and sell it as a perfume, what would it be called?

Can we just get every game on Switch from now on?

Well thanks for your honest review. I was on the fence about Rime, and now I’m not going to get it unless it’s heavily discounted. I’ve been burned by too many indie games in that mold.

Do you think another competitor will ever try and make a handheld, or is that exclusively a Nintendo thing from now on? Is there any chance Sony will ever make a Vita followup?

What are the odds of Gamecube and Wii games on the virtual console? What are the odds of Switch’s virtual console being announced at E3?

Is the Final Fantasy 7 remake a real game, and will we see it before the sun collapses in on itself?
