Any crazy stories from an E3 after party?
What’s your shot in the dark guess for Scorpio’s price? Judging by the specs, it seems like it can’t launch for less than $400, or likely more. Do you think a high price hinder it from taking off, even with Xbox’s diehard fans?
Have you ever regretted playing something?
I think there are two pieces of heart you can find with it, but so far that's all I've really encountered. Ah well.
It's still speculation, but Jason Schreier (the guy who wrote that article) didn't get the impression they were working on anything when he was doing interviews. I can't say it's too surprising now that Bioware has announced they're taking a break from the franchise, but I know a lot of fans were holding out for the…
"Have you ever gone back and played through a game again immediately after finishing it? "
Link Between Worlds is great, and you should totally try Link to the Past again at some point. I played Link Between Worlds before touching LTTP, but I think you can play them in any order and still appreciate the homage. This might be blaspheme, but there are a lot of elements I prefer in Link Between Worlds. There…
So, uh, I haven't had a chance to watch any of the episodes yet, and I'm guessing the reviews will be done by the time I'm finished. I know you guys have to balance reviews with the speed at which people stream these shows, but like, it's June. There's hardly any TV coverage to begin with. Couldn't we have gotten…
Speaking of which, it sounds like Andromeda's not even getting single player DLC (ouch).
Yeah, it's easy to say "they needed a better project lead" in hindsight, but I'm sure it's difficult to have perspective when you're in the thick of things. But that said… they needed better management. Or at least someone to put their foot down and tell them to change focus when it was clear that their original…
Yeah, I don't suddenly appreciate the game knowing how hard it was to develop, but I have no ill will towards the dev team (never did, for that matter). Despite a myriad of really poor decisions, these guys never set out to make a bad game, and I'm sure they wanted it to be good just as much as the fans did. Game…
Ok that shouldn't be an issue. I have Ocarina Link, Bow Link, and a Guardian.
Damnit, now I have to play Hyrule Warriors.
Another issue was that the beginning of Andromeda's development overlapped with the end of Inquisition's. The team behind Inquisition was literally writing the tools they needed from scratch, so they weren't available until Andromeda's development was pretty far along, and by that time the team couldn't use them.
God, can you imagine how pissed everyone would be if the big follow up to Breath of the Wild was entirely based around top traversal and combat? It's such a dumb gimmick, but I'd still be kind of excited.
Jeeze, I feel conflicted. On one hand, I still like it for the over the top dramatics, but it's a really different show than what I signed up for. I just wanted some goofy Degrassi style antics, not SEX TRAFFICKING and MURDER.
There should be a Zelda game where you exclusively travel by means of a stupid spinning top. Actually that would be terrible, but I don't care. I wish they had a mini game that used it outside of the dungeon, though. It's so goofy and fun!
That's really weird. It's the same link I used at the end, but without the HTML. I'll just quit being fancy, I guess. It's this article:
Hello everyone! I’m still neglecting Horizon: Zero Dawn because the cheerful world of Nintendo is too appealing in these dark times. Also, I told myself I’d get all the hunting trophies, and I no longer want to. I’ll return to Horizon soon, but in the meantime I’m still binging on Nintendo. This week I’ve been…
"Was the apparently poor writing just because of this? Were they even able to salvage any of their writing from the first 60% of development?"
