Nah, I don't think many people are that attached to her as a character. I thought she was fine and all, but I wouldn't mind seeing new love interests explored.

Or pull an "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitdt". Maggie is Alex's first girlfriend, so maybe Alex should play the dating game a little more before settling down with her first love.
Eh, I get it. I imagine a lot of the complainers are young queer people, and representation is so important. It can be really hard when characters you identify with break up, especially when there aren't THAT many queer couples on TV. They're probably worried they'll be putting Alex's sexuality in the background from…
Maggie/Alex were one of season 2's highlights for me. I really appreciated that one storyline routinely took us away from the core "baddie of the week" drama, and I thought their relationship was handled well (and much better than Kara/Mon-El). It also led to some good character development for Alex, which is…
Agreed. Overall it's a fun experience, but I honestly remember the line - and that INCREDIBLE recreation of Hogwarts - more than the ride itself. Of course, it didn't help that we were in line for over an hour, but at least they made it a fun wait. It might have been an even stronger experience if they dropped the…
That was a blast!
YES! I honestly don't care for The Twister or that new one The Black Diamond, but The Phoenix more than makes up for it. Now that I'm older I'm not as ride obsessed as I was in my youth, but going to Knoebels is such a lovely experience. Sometimes I'll just go to get food and walk around (one of the many benefits of…
I thought the rides were OK (Gringotts was my favorite), but the visual design of the two Potter worlds was over the top amazing. It was worth the trip just to walk around Hogsmead and Diagon Alley (The fire breathing dragon on top of Gringotts was AMAZING!). I went with my mom, and we spent hours just walking around,…
Harry Potter and The Mummy were both fantastic (I think the Spider-man ride had a huge line so I we skipped it). That said, I think Disney has a little more variety in that department.
Are you sure? I could swear the screens were 3d, but maybe I'm confusing it with gringotts
"sit and put on 3-d glasses"
NO! I loved that crazy fever dream of a ride (but I admit it was pretty outdated even when I saw it in 2001).
Oh man, that's a huge bummer! The Orlando version was one of my favorites last time I went.
I think Universal has better thrill rides, but Disney has better dark rides/family attractions. It all depends on what you're interested in.
I totally agree! I was able to tolerate spinning rides as a kid, but now that I'm an adult they just make me feel queasy. Honestly, I mainly like rollercoasters (especially wooden ones) and dark rides.
I would have gone on the Hulk coaster, but it was being worked on unfortunately! It really wasn't a big deal, because we still spent plenty of time in the park mainly in the Harry Potter and Jurassic Park areas. We also did that goofy Poseidon's Adventure experience, which was really schlocky and fun.
Last year, I went to Universal Studios with the intention of seeing all the Harry Potter stuff (it was great btw). But while were were there, I obviously wanted to explore the rest of the parks and enjoy what they had to offer. One of the first things I noticed in Islands of Adventure - the smaller of the two Orlando…
She might have lost some of her hearing, but she's definitely not deaf. She'll come when I call her, shake treats, etc. She was my grandma's cat before I, uh, inherited her, so I can't really compare to what she sounded like when she was younger. My theory is that she had to compensate because my grandma's hearing…
I bet I know what her response will be.
My cat meows every time I pet her, try figuring that one out — *pet* maow *pet* MAOW *pet* MAOW!!! — and if it's not clear from the caps, she is LOUD. She's an old lady, so I was worried I was somehow hurting her at first, but nope. She's just… talkative.
