Me too when my father died. He belonged to a health club and I knew he had become “friendly” with some of the trainers and people much younger than he, but I kept getting phone calls from them when they found out he died, wanting to know why I didn’t call them.

I started getting stressed out yesterday watching an American Masterpiece episode on the Gilded Age, re the Astors and the Vanderbilts. The Gilded Age is much more relaxing when viewed thru the lens of The Age of Innocence. Joanne Woodward’s narration, maybe?
