Ugh!!!

That’s awful. When my grandmother had a baby who died shortly after he was born (he was a blue baby), the doctor wasn’t going to let her see or hold him. Apparently one of the nurses defied him and let my grandmother hold her baby and she always said she was so grateful that she got that chance and that he was her

It’s inhumane. It’s cruel. I am utterly disgusted with the very notion.

And it doesn’t help that Texas also passed a law last time that drastically reduced funding and resources for parents and families and schools who have children with disabilities.

Not only would this prevent women from having the choice to abort, it robs a woman who would choose not to abort from preparing herself to have a child with a disability, who may not even survive birth. This is disgusting on all fronts.

Now, now. Trump should definitely be allowed to publish that tweet. It’s only polite to thank someone - in this case the centrist media - when they give you a big ol’ dribbling blowy for doing nothing other than not bursting into flame.

I didn’t even know that there was a women’s league, my younger brother played hockey and all of my family are hockey fans except me I don’t watch it at but I would be more than happy to watch a women’s hockey league and go from there, even though I personally find sports extremely boring I’m always down to watch and

I attended my first NHL game in decades this year when we took our son to a Dallas Stars game. I don’t have real statistics, but my observation suggested that the crowd was close to 50% female. The NHL would be wise to help promote the NWHL in order to grow the sport’s fan base.

He’s made the bar SO low that he gets praise for this crap????

CA District 51 Darrell Issa-R

The Missing posters and the empty suit town halls are hilarious. One representative is even being followed around by a guy in a chicken suit because he is too cowardly to hold town halls.

Now, right at this moment, is the time to unite to do two things: Eliminate as many republicans from Congress as you can, and pump the Democrats full of new progressive blood as you can. Bernie supporters and Hillary supporters alike, it’s time to get to work and get to duty. There’s a mountain in front of us, but if

I *love* this trend of “With or Without You” town-halls. It highlights their cowardice in verrrrry boldfaced type.

When Gabby Giffords told Gohmert to “have some courage”, she really meant “grow a pair”— but she’s far too polite to say it point-blank like that. I am not, so I would happily tell these chickenshit bastards to grow both a Pair AND a Spine.

My dad has contemplated moving to a gerrymandered red district near us just to see if he could primary one of our less pleasant reps. He’s an old guard fiscal republican who votes democrat now because he can’t stand what the party became.

I’d also add that Republicans have been very good at gerrymandering at local levels, since it ensures that they maintain political control even when their party doesn’t represent the majority of people.

Progressives and Democrats in those districts should just run as republicans and primary those guys. These are the same voters who supported trump even when he advocated for things that were very non-republican. I bet if someone runs on a platform of cutting the deficit (by taxing the rich), boosting education

If democrats get off their fat asses and vote in a midterm. And that’s a big if.

It’s important to get publicity for these town halls “in absentia” because the it’s the only way to possibly embarrass representatives who are dodging their constituents. Then after that, there should be trips to congressional offices on Independence Ave. to wait and be ignored.
