You’re that guy.
You’re that guy.
Ya’ll must be new to fighting games.....
No it didn’t. Actually it benefited the other player, much like it did Zero over Dabuz. Bayonetta is a combo heavy character. Just imagine that because of the knockback being reduced your combos become easier and you can extend them easier. (Same thing with Zero) Komorikiri didn’t have that luxury with most of his…
The divas here aren’t the players; it’s you people all sour over not shaking the guy’s hand.
The problem is that’s not necessarily true on a logical level. Both players’ character choice, moveset and style of play may very well respond differently to adjustments in the underlying mechanics.
Unfortunately the same damage ratio affects different characters differently. With lower damage, a character who is less agile, will have a higher chance to return to the map. A higher agility character, will loose the advantage he had in that field. Combos and hits that’d give you an instant victory now don’t.…
This did not become a thing because of his disrespect to the other player. It became a thing because the player requested the settings be properly calibrated, the audience voiced their displeasure at the match, and they were called out on Twitter. All of these could have, and would have, happened regardless if he was…
It’s not realistic to expect that from him.
If you look at the guy offering the hand shake, when it’s declined, he gave a small nod as if you say “I understand”
Are you aware that a x0.9 ratio could drastically affect some characters more than others?
One concrete example of that hostility: a game store.
Cargo pants! Shut up, I’m a 44 year old computer engineer dad. I have a license.
Agreed. Nintendo focusing a little bit too much on the gimmick to start. Lead with a big name game and then follow up with some of the fun quirky stuff.
If a major game released with no minimap fans would raise hell until the developer caved and added one. I do believe the days of actual exploration, without an arrow to point you directly to the next objective, are long gone.
Was it really hacked or did he just guessed that SquareEnix’s password is “Feathers&Leather4ever”?
Normally I’d agree with you, but certain devs have gotten calls at their house, death threats against their families, things sent in the mail, ect... a Destiny dev got swatted a couple years ago. Usually over stupid shit like balance changes.
He’s not defending it. He’s explaining it. There is a difference. How did you miss it?
Nope. There is never an excuse to be a dick. Do all the mental gymnastics you want to justify it, but you’ll still be wrong, every time.
There is a big difference between voicing your displeasure in a reasonable way, or even being downright angry, and being “toxic”.
No one is worried about getting verbally hit on the internet. It’s easy to ignore that. Developers are definitely worried about people taking it offline.
I’m not really sure how portability is a dumb gimmick, but what is your concern with the Switch? Sure it can be used as a portable system, but if you just want a normal system you can just leave it in the dock and play it like that. I guess the portability will add to the cost but the system itself will still work as…
