My immediate thought was “little twat”. Too good for Radiohead? Well Thom was doing weird-faced ginger music when this lad was in his carry cot. And Ed clearly brought up on a diet of Coldplay and X-Factor style competitions. Musical muesli.

Which at this point is really more notch than board.

Ed Sheeran has never listened to a Radiohead album

nope, absolutely wear it everywhere. if you’re on the shy side then a v neck opaque bodysuit w shorts will be your friend, or you can wear a bra/bandeau/cami under and a skirt or a cute pair or leather or looser shorts. high waist will be cute and the legs will look like tights.

I look forward to the alcohol-free wine bar, and the cheese-free patisserie. What more fun things can we be freed from?

Oh, God...

Less than she would have if I was the one pushing?

I have to wonder how much time she actually spent on the ground, though.

Katy Perry was literally a “mic drop.”

Maybe a sledgehammer.

Really press it in there to make sure it stays.

I’m genuinely curious why wanting the pomp and label of marriage is seen as a “bad” thing? What’s wrong with wanting to gather your family and friends around you to celebrate your commitment to your life-partner? What’s wrong with wanting to be referred to as someone’s husband or wife?

hear hear!

What you overhear is likely rooted in context, I’m wagering. I mean, I’m in my mid-20s, which is definitely young, and I’m in a serious relationship. We’re making plans to move in together in the next year, and I’ve made it really clear that if I’m gonna pack up my shit and rearrange my life to share a home with him,

That's what they said about the pancreas and where are those people now?

Oh, I saw your advice as measured and kind. I have to ask myself some of those questions some time. So, thank you.

Also, thank you everyone else, you are all very helpful.

I totally get protesting Clinton or making your presence know there…but why has BLM never once protested a Republican event? Like not even once.

Can’t believe I had to scroll so far to hear someone say this. As always, no matter what women do - we’re still the ‘bad’ ones. I’ve been on the exact opposite side of this problem - most men I’ve dated have wanted to marry me. But instead of people piling on him I got friends pressuring me to say yes. I left all

According to this very story, you in fact DID propose, multiple times. Do you feel your behavior has therefore been mischaracterized here? If not, why not?

Yeah - I have a super simple, slightly geometric art deco ring with alternating sapphires and diamonds, set in white gold then on a yellow gold band that was my belonged to my partner’s grandmother. It wasn’t her engagement ring, but it was her favourite and she always wore it on her ring finger, so it meant a lot.
