The OP was trying to comfort someone who might need it after reading something devastating. You might feel this way, and it might be valid, but saying that here in this particular thread could possibly have hurt the one person who read that post and maybe felt better for a split second.

I’ve had some low points the last couple of years, and a little reminder that there is someone out there who cares enough, even just to post something nice in a comment section, is a tiny source of light in what can be awful darkness.

It’s quite telling that a Television Network can figure out when enough is enough and that everyone is upset by something and let a big star go in a day, yet it takes our government weeks to do the same. Or never, considering who is still POTUS.
