I am totally with you, it was terrible!

I can’t really blame Hillary too much if I’m being honest. If I were in her position I don’t know how I would have reacted either. I’d like to say I’d rise above it and be rational but that probably wouldn’t have happened.

Well if you want to get specific, it was a bunch of men picking on a woman. Not the Dems, not the GOP. MEN. Everyone was mean and nasty to her. This was my entire point. She was basically the slut he slept with and everyone used her to further whatever agenda they could.

I know this. I said the GOP used her. They used the affair in every way they could to tarnish his image to help their case.

Spin? Um ok. What’s your take? Are you trying to say that everyone was on her side? Or that the GOP was nice to her? Or the public was nice to her?

I don’t know how old you are, but that was not the thinking at the time. The majority of the people loved Clinton and basically listened to the media, who made her out to be a homewrecking whore. The GOP, who were not popular at the time and were desperate, latched onto this like death and used her...basically said…

I just watched this interview this morning, and while he certainly didn’t do himself any favors a couple things struck me.

This. It makes me sad as well. Kids who are not all over the internet can feel tremendous pressure when things are uneasy at home....I can’t even imagine how she must feel.

Coming here to say the same, but you said it better, especially the last sentence. It’s like it pains them to write something nice about someone, so they have to throw in pointless negativity.

Yeah I thought that was swift consequense considering the facts (as far as we know anyway). Although I do believe her, I would hate to think that all it takes to derail someone’s entire life is a single Facebook post.....it makes me wonder if there was more evidence.
