@Kit Cloudkicker: Will there be tea cakes with "eat me" on them? Can I come?

@Ryan: Pyrex is good, but the snapware stuff has a silicone (?) rectangular/square part that seals the lid to the container. It's not completely leakproof, but better than Pyrex at transporting stuff.

@sdreelin: I have the Lock 'n Lock. The ones I use daily are from an Asian supermarket so the plastic top is decorative.

@LARPkitten: There's a lot more weight in the desk, chairs, books, etc. than a single mattress and bedding. You would have to put a lot more structural support to loft up a workspace.

@maurasaurus: I wish that sugar did not count as part of those calories. I'm not aware if those empty calories actually fill them up. I'm pretty sure that a cup of white milk is just as filling as the strawberry version even if the (fake) strawberry has more calories due to the sugar.

@colorisnteverything: That amount includes labor, etc. I think it came to less than a $1 for actual food.

@miklamikla: This silk thermal gloves you are speaking sound excellent. Off to google!

@la.donna.pietra: This is where I've bought my winter boots a few years ago. They often having discount codes too.

@Mensa: Growing up in PA (and living in DC now), I dealt with snow on a semi-basis.

@ytuhermanotambien: At the end of last winter, I managed to acquire some fantastic warm tights from Anthropologie on super clearance ($5 vs the normal $18). They are original enough and fancy. I can't wait to wear them this year.

@CaityDaisy: I've found it difficult to find a warm, wool (dressy) coat with a hood that doesn't look too "old." I just wear a scarf with my coat.

I have several silk camisoles that I've acquired on the cheap. I wear this underneath my wool and/or cashmere sweaters. It's where I sweat the most, so I can just wash my silk camis more often (instead of the thick sweaters).

For warm, wool coats, I look at the percentage of wool. Most of the
