@harei: But the phone would be an unlocked iPhone (make sure the ESN is clean before selling it). The $99 one is requires a 2 year contract. Looking at completed listings on eBay would be a good idea of how much to sell.

@anneohirsch: Couldn't you sell your iPhone 3G? I assume that you could sell it for $150 easy (probably more). There would probably be a day or two where you would have no phone.

@LoSpaz: In select TJ Maxxes, there are runway sections filled with actual designer clothes. It's still a little expensive for me, but I've bought a few pieces on super clearance.

@esp13: Since the current iPhone (the one that Verizon will release) doesn't allow LTE, I don't think it would work on Sprint's 4G.

@Vodnik: As a 15+ years wearer of corrective contact lenses, I like the US laws. I'm sticking something in my eyes every day and a mandatory yearly visit ensures that nothing wrong is going in my eyes. Plus, when I first started wearing them, my vision changed constantly.

@ManicPixieNightmare: I got a whole bunch of strawberries for various reasons. I got a huller (no strawberry ornamentation) for $1 at the orchard. It was extremely helpful (and faster) than using a knife.

There is Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA), but mostly applies to landlords that have multiple like units. As a renter of a single like unit that the landlord owns, I am not covered. The basics are (like it being safe), but otherwise the lease is the letter of the law.

I live in a rental and electricity is part of my rent. (So I'm not too concerned with sealing everything in.) It's my first winter and the old, single pane windows are breezy.
