@RosePetalPlace: Unless it's their frames, most places will do it but will also state that they're not liable for the frames. So if, in the middle of making the lenses, they break the frames; they're not liable for it.

@DinaRonson : Elizabeth Cady Stanton: My polling place is in a local governmental building. I've seen schools and a police station. But never churches and hotels! Strange.
@pantsless: I'm in district 11. I voted for the incumbant. I don't know much about Rep. Connelly, but at least I know he voted against the Stupak amendment.
@LadyvonSnarkyPants: I did the absentee ballot in college too. Same state, but different county. I didn't know much about local politics (even the one year when some stupid kid got on the ballot for a local position).
@Girl Unawares: My LLBean backpack is still going strong, after nearly 15 years. (This includes Middle School, High School, and College.)
@Lilytox: I've been to the Freeport one. It's pretty cool. I didn't buy anything, but I did buy a lovely messenger bag at the nearby outlet.
I love Dianna's style. I know this picture is a set costume, but her regular clothes are to die for and mostly attainable.
@Oranges w/ Cheese has 2 cats! ahahaha.: I found the one above to be a little shaky. Depending on the height of the already installed rod on your closet, I would think about getting a garment rack instead.
@rixatrix (jezebel kink squad junior member): It only makes me think of "the only moral abortion is my (or my daughter's/other family member's) abortion."
@Grim Reaper of the Forest: This is just a wonderful analogy to explain the inanity of that e-mailer's statement.
@rocket_ace: It's probably address down below, but I don't think color e-ink has come down that low in price. Not to mention that e-ink technology wouldn't support apps in that resolution.
@fhrblig: This is what I did when I moved into the DC area 5 years ago. I did cheat with google, but it was done at home.
@jupiterthunder: As the daughter of dry cleaner owners, I know them well.
For pants, I have something like this: [www.qvc.com] One end is open and the bottom is covered with a thick circular rubber. I've never had a crease, but I'm not particular about my pants.
@jupiterthunder: I would assume the former. The latter provides unsteady tube halves that will easily slip off without extra tape.
@RousseMacabre, from Ravenclaw: That's horrible! While I remember many years where I was forced to wear a winter coat over my wonderful costume, I loved trick-or-treating at night.
@egged: This is some great advice on choosing a good tailor and what to look out for as a customer.
@GayRobotsRUS: I feel like you can, but you might hate the cost. That kind of work takes a lot of time and some amount of expertise.
@LoSpaz: Well, that's just the manufacturer issue. Most pants don't leave a lot of room for lengthening. Average height people would hate that extra room.
@claudinelonget: As a daughter of a tailor, I agree. It's pretty easy to do even if the back part looks really ugly.
