@Rote Zora: With my shortness, that would just be a lot of extra material. I do leave more room than necesary, because you can never be sure if a pair of pants will shrink.

My mom is a professional seamstress, and I'm short so I always get my pants hemmed. I've still learned to do it myself because I live farther away. It doesn't look pretty from the inside, but it's functional.

@arkansassy: You can, but don't be annoyed if you measured it wrong. Make him wear the usual shoes that he would wear with the pants and pin it. For extra measure, you could measure the inseam (from the crotch down to the feet).

@be_tandy: It would totally depend on the pair of pants. Usually they take in the seam that goes down the middle of the back parts and alter it down. They might go for the side seams too. It's pretty expensive, more so if the pants are lined (double the work). I wouldn't be surprised it starting at $15.

@Mensa: I move around a lot when I sleep too. In the winter, I wear the standard button-up PJs.

@RudyWaltz: I've dug through the clearance bins to find myself a discounted duvet cover. It was still over my price range.

@LoSpaz: I moved into a drafty apartment this year. I live in the DC area. My heat is included so I don't have to worry about blasting it all day long.

Those bird sheets on #15 are just lovely. I love printed sheets with a coordinating solid color blanket/comforter/duvet.

@aisuru113: I've been in the store. It's pretty tame. It was a Diva theme of sorts and mostly had lingerie and books and a few toys.

@greensestina: The Potomac Mills Mall is epic. Neiman Marcus Last Call, Nordstrom Rack.

@Tchotchke: Young Fidel Castro has the eyes of Liam Neeson.

I'm a new Android user (HTC EVO), and just discovered Angry Birds. Not particularly complicated, but a great time waster.

What are the demographics of the show? I assume there is a strong contingent of adult geeks like myself who most definitely understands the need for good science education.

@Noble Rat: That was my understanding as well. And I believe that a lot of listeners of rap music are those from middle to upper middle class neighborhoods.

@JakeMG: Waxing Pedantic: I was under the impression that 3G was only available for AT&T. If you went with another carrier (like T-mobile), you would only be able to get 2G service.

@la.donna.pietra: I missed that post. That is pretty amazing. I didn't realize that there are models with extremely long hair.

That basket weave hair (which I assume is not their natural hair) on most of the models is just gorgeous.

@pantsonfireliarliar: I'm going to assume not. I'm a long-time Citi Rewards Card member.

@sacredprofanity: It's definitely portrayed as such on tv/movies. The stereotypical cheerleader/jock is the one that "peaks" at high school, but end up working at the car dealer or being a "trophy" wife. The geek who was miserable in high school ends up being super successful.
