@MelishTheDish: Wrong, Sam's Club is owned by Walmart, not Costco. Costco isn't a perfect company either. They have a great returns policy and treat their employees pretty well. I believe the CEO takes a modest paycheck, but probably has stock options.

I find metal jewelry extremely bothersome in hot weather. It makes me sweat more and wearing a metal necklace makes me feel like I'm choking. I've found the solution: real stones: pearl, coral, etc. They are very cooling and don't get hot with your body temperature.

I find myself unable to wear a statement necklace with dangly earrings. I always feel too dressed up. If I'm wearing a statement necklace, I'll wear simple earrings or studs. My dangly earrings go with simple necklaces or no necklace at all.

@anteup lost her pizazz: There's a tag on io9 with profiles of members. I don't remember what it's called though.

I like the Korean version: Choco Pie.

@Hooplehead: Wikipedia is telling me that moon pie is "a pastry which consists of two round graham cracker cookies, with marshmallow filling in the center, dipped in chocolate or other flavors."

@Batgrrl: Beware of the average outlet mall, most of the brand names are now "factory stores." Separate clothing made specifically for the outlet stores.

@Traceytel: I think the movie was worse than the book in portraying white men as "good." In the movie, the daughter that divorces her white husband gets back together with her. The daughter that marries the 50/50 guy gets together with a guy that looks kind of mixed/integrated into white society. And of course you

@chocho-san: It's how I felt as a child/teenager. When you're one of a few number of Asian people in your school, some things are difficult. Like the fact the only other Asian in my honors class was Chinese. He and I made sure not to associate with each other at all. (Especially when asked if we were related.)

I've had a love/hate relationship to this movie/book all my life. As an adolescent in a suburban white community, it affirmed my beliefs that white=good and Asian=bad. (I was mainly attracted to Caucasian boys and eschewed the Asian ones. Being Korean and speaking to my parents was a chore. The disconnect between my

@Melissa Spencer: Yup, and apparently had/have a sold-out cruise tour.

@Unionhawk: I think there are some fee-based couponing sites out there.

I really, really like a lot of the real clothes that the women wear on the show.

@Beaker of Hope: Absolutely. Rachael Ray may be annoying to some, but she seems to be a pretty good home cook. Most of her meals are pretty easy, but they do, you know, involve actual cooking.

@monkey_biz: Obama's maternal grandparents were very well off. It's not the same as your stereotypical single mother.

@the.bleach: I do plays/musicals solo too. It's nice now because there are some deals around my area (DC) for youngin's. I've been able to score tickets for $10-$15 because I was under 30/35.

@royalfan5: Clothing is cheap now. It's so easy to buy something and throw it away. When people made their own clothes, they only had a few pieces. Upper classes had more clothing and professionals do it, but it was customed for them.

@RachelMadHo: I don't like the "boyfriend" styles because it just means long versions of anything, something my short and normal torsoed self can not handle.

@HeartRateRapid: I deal with it too, and it's very frusterating. When I was younger, I kept referring to my state. But sometimes people are curious and like to know.
