@thechibster63: You might have to stalk the children's shoes to see if you can find a heeled black pair of mary janes that do not have glitter/bows/etc.

@thechibster63: What size are you thinking of? You can occasionally find size 5 and 5.5 in B&M stores, but they're more difficult. Nordstrom has great service for finding these sizes in comfortable/higher end brands. Nordstrom Rack has a bunch of shoes in 5 and 5.5 and even a few in 4 and 4.5.

@Beaker of Hope: My friend is a size 1 in children's, meaning a 2.5 or 3 in women's. She comes from South Korea with smaller footed women, but she still had to custom order shoes from a cobbler.

@gherkinfiend: It also gets expensive if you can't do it your self. Hems are pretty simple on a pair of pants, but skirts may be more difficult depending on the material. Taking in the waist is an option, but that can take away the design of the pants/skirts/dress.

I'm short, but big enough that I don't fall into the "retail clothes don't fit me" bin. I don't believe I have a petite sized clothing in my closet.

@cool_as_KimDeal: You can get some tops hemmed. I normally buy regular clothes and tops are always a problem. Everything just runs longer and longer these days.

@Tippi Hedren: I've given up. I just deal with long sleeves, and have a mom who hems my pants for me.

@Beaker of Hope: If you're looking for casual shoes (sneakers, flats, etc), look into children's shoes. Size down by 1.5. If you wear a 6 in women's, it's a 4.5 in children's.

@sinead.elliot.: Not all, but I can think of some recent: Daniel Radcliffe and the guy that plays Jacob in Twilight.

My mom was afraid of turning into her mother. She hated how my grandmother favored the only son over the other daughters. She's been pretty good about trying to treat my brother and I the same.

@la.donna.pietra: I love the 3000% of Vitamin C I get. Once it gets past 100%, the rest is just pee.

@ZenaKrumbein: Go with anything that has real cane sugar instead of HFCS. It'll be a bit more expensive though.

@magnets: I love the weirdness that is Izze Birch Soda. Yum.

@iamthelaw: I have a somewhat flat ass, and found out that pants with button flaps (a flap over the pockets with a prominent button closing it) is the best.

@Chamalla,barren crone: We didn't have a breakfast program in our school, but I watched Jamie Oliver's School Lunch specials. The kids were given "breakfast" pizza pretty regularly. Otherwise, they would put strawberry milk in with their sugary cereal.

@wednesdayam: I too hate the "I got mine, fuck you" people. Immigration standards back then are so much different than today. I immigrated into the US 20+ years ago, and it was definitely easier back then.

@DailyLattes: No, we're not. But most of the others that have this are from developing countries.

@holy.crap.a.tornado: In the past, only Verizon worked (and Sprint roaming off their network). I believe they will (or already have) all companies work underground.
