My mother's death glare throughout childhood has taught me how to behave around company.

@Penny: Does Anne Geddes weird you out? (She's the photographer that does all those baby photographs.)

@sundae1888: I brought an illegal rice cooker with me to college dorms. It was my saving grace for all 4 years. Not only did I make rice, but also pasta and ramen. I didn't cook meat on it, but it was the best thing ever.

@gunface: It definitely depends on the optometrist there at Costco. Each optometrist runs their own independent shop (but must abide by the set prices).

@lacey in ak: My last two pairs were from there. I had flex money to spend and bought "designer" frames, but still only spent about $200 total.

@JennyDSweetie: Exactly. Hipsters have been doing this for years.

I wear glasses at home (regular contact lens wearer). But I do wear sunglasses a lot since I drive.

@ink: I've bought the last two pairs of glasses at Costco. I'm a fan. (I only wear glasses at home. I'm a contact lens wearer.)

I just bought a pair of MBTs, but I'm still trying to figure out if they're "worth" it. (Apparently they were the original and everybody else have been copying off of them.)

I love polishing my toes in the spring/summer, but I still can't get behind painting my fingernails. Every time I do it, I feel like I'm holding ten invisible weights with my nails.

@Hamtramck Homme: I stopped playing violin after high school, but it still took me years to get used to longish fingernails. (I tried growing them out, but it would get weak or I would feel uncomfortable.)

@amrcanpoet: I feel like the average American coffee drinker (at least the ones who regularly buy coffee drinks) do not really like coffee. That's why they get the fancy drinks with the hot milk/water added to it.

@R94N: Most of my cubicle life has been fortunate enough to be near a window. But the lighting still kills you.

@Gotlactose: I started out with a credit card in college: $500 limit and a high APR. I only charged $50-$100 a month and paid it off every month. When I graduated college, I had a very good credit score. I've never had to ask my parents to co-sign for a loan.

@gerrrg: I've been able to get over $1000 in rewards (gift cards, cash, etc) over the 5 or so years I've been using rewards credit cards. I pay it off every month too.

I can see a DIY version if you can find elastic with some silicone/rubber dots on it at a crafts store.

@S_path_23: It's the flourescent lighting that drives me nuts. When I first started working, we all had individual offices (no windows for us lowers), but it allowed us to bring in our own non-flourescent lighting.

@CKD1: What about when she gets raped (I think) by Zach?

@CissyPants: Thanks. No cable here, but I will definitely watch it online!

@slightlyhardup: It's strange. I have to wear a bra outside, but I physically feel uncomfortable with one inside the house. My boobs do exist and require some support, but I like a bra-free house too.
