the hard part for me in using dumbbells is getting them into position to actually do the exercise. i can bench 330 but i’d have a hell of a time getting 2 100 pound DBs to my side to actually bench them. when i bench, i work up in weight and ask someone around me to spot. it’s never enough where i couldn’t help get it…

find what works for you. i bench and mix in incline and decline bench and alternate those between barbells, iso-machines and dumbbells.

this is a good general rule. i for one wouldn’t be able to follow it. i can only squat about 6-8 inches before my knee is past my toes as i have short legs and big feet.

ehh. 600 calories isn’t too bad. we all need a cheat day. it can be argued that as long as you’re taking in less calories then you were, regardless of what they are, you’ll still lose weight.
