I mean, at least with the flight delays you could leave the airport and get real food besides a microwaved hot dog.

You shut your car off in traffic?

Prioritize my routes? Got it. I just drive to and from work and stop at places along the way or very near home for groceries. Guess what? It still costs me 8 bucks A DAY in guess. I drive a small crossover. This is a horrible take.

Sarge green is the right color. I have a 4 door in this color. Someone up the street has one with a tan roof. It doesn't look right in my opinion.

Ford uses a 5 digit code. There are between 21 and 25 THOUSAND possible combos. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

How are they a security risk?

    You can change the number.

Thats why I rarely drive my Del Sol.

I have a 95 Honda del sol with historic tags

Yeah, 198k is much more reasonable to spend on a game character ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Most be nice.

Couldn't you just recline yourself so the screen is farther away again?

I empathize with you being tall and losing a little leg room when someone reclines. But sitting straight up flying cross country is no way to spend 6 hours.

Uber requires a SSN to sign up as a driver. Both require a license and proof of insurance. I don't think undocumented people are driving Ubers.

This guy near me had one of these with a windshield banner that read "baby magnum" that always made me laugh.

Has a good job and buys "dream" truck. Loses good job. Can still afford payments so she doesn't lose the truck and can't get to work. Needs 1400 for tires (1400 at once not a monthly payment). Can't afford new tires. Pretty easy.

$650 is certainly an outlier for the price of a del Sol. I bought my 95 SI locally last year for 1500 from the second owner with a few issues. Typical Sol prices are 1500-3k depending on model/color/year in that order.

If I had to guess, a person who spent 24k on a car brand new in 97 and made the decision to just store it probably had a ton of money to play with.

Well, you can’t say this and then not get into detail.

Sorry I can’t afford a new raptor, explorer, St or RS. But I can afford a 2013 escape 2.0 in which the previous owner took 17k of a depreciation hit.
