I’ve been in zero ubers where the check engine light is on. Prior to Uber I had been in several livery cabs and yellow cabs which suffered malfunctions. Plus they were more expensive, showed up late (if at all), or if a yellow cab just illegally refused you service and drove away if they didn’t like your destination.
