Other people like to smugly assert their superiority based on their cheaply constructed mcmansion that is an hour commute away from civilization and surrounded by chain restaurants

La migra.

Gotta get up early to sell churros on the R line.

Unions are for people too useless to negotiate for themselves.

It is only a problem if you are a poor whining maggot.

Someone is mad he couldn’t get into a good school.

You don’t, it’s a private fucking entity you whining maggot.

Someone is salty he went to some broke ass 9th tier school.

The glass bottles are generally tiny and much smaller than the glass bottles in America and under 12 ounces (or however many commie-liters that is).  Unless things have become civilized in the 6 or 7 years since I lived on the continent.

I mean, I eat out the vast majority of my meals (the beauty of being able to expense things). I can’t even recall the last time I had an overly chatty waiter unless people in my party were engaging them. The places where this happened have been exclusively like chain or suburban restaurants I used to eat at as a kid.

I will admit that, when living in Germany, I kind of wanted to be a waiter for a week so I could just be rude as fuck to all of the customers without any repercussions. I feel it would be somewhat therapeutic.

Apparently you are too dense to understand humor.

Well, obviously some outlander with poor command of the English language, whose expertise on the matter stems from happening to live here for a couple years, speaks on behalf of all American waiters (a profession I held for 4 years).

That is the standard serving of a soda at a restaurant in Europe. I mean, it is disgusting how we have like 62 ounce sodas at gas stations, but there is surely a middle ground between a tiny quaff of soda and a bottomless tub of it.

“Northern europe, you will not catch me murdering wales on a beach when I do.”

Wales is part of the UK which is not located in Northern Europe.

You are the one triggered by the very concept of tipping (which allows *good* waiters to make much more than their garbage european counterparts).

“My Argentine friend gets uptight about the server bringing the check in The USA before asking for it”

Perhaps he should branch out from TGI Fridays?

“If a person overcooks a steak at home they’re still gonna eat it because they’re not about to throw it out and cook anouther 3 or 4 steaks”

“There’s a line, and many waiters and waitresses seem to go over that line, especially in a casual restaurant.”

Wow, you have discovered that workers in casual restaurants act more casually?
